Survivors include one son, James Champa of Cape Cod, MA; three daughters, Debbie and Denise of Cleveland, OH and Dee Sims of Greenwood; two brothers, Carl Bird of Clearwater, FL and Donald Gillespie of Cleveland, OH; five sisters, Flo, Rose and Vicki of Cleveland, OH, June of Kenton, OH and Jessie Shaw of Clearwater, FL; fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood.
