Donald Ray Faulkenberry Sr.

Donald “Gus” Faulkenberry Sr., 79 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 in his home. He was the owner of Faulkenberry Wood Products, member of Free Range Cowboy Church and a member of Lodge #131 F& AM.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Community Bible Church with burial at Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Lynita of the home; two sons, Randy Faulkenberry and Donald Faulkenberry and wife, Shannon both of Greenwood; two daughters, Cheryl Robison and husband, Stan of Fort Smith and Jeree Cossey of Greenwood; two brothers, W.E. Faulkenberry and wife, Vera of Oregon and Bob Faulkenberry and wife, Margie of Oklahoma; three sisters, Geraldean Dolph of Pocola, Bobbie Janway of Fort Smith and Jackie Janway of Oklahoma City; eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ilar Faulkenberry; a daughter, Judy Wood; brothers, Dewey, James, Jerry and Curtis Faulkenberry; sister, Midge Faulkenberry and a grandson, Travis Robison.

Pallbearers will be Matt Faulkenberry, Jake Robison, Conner Robison, Donald Faulkenberry, III, Shawn Robison and Lanny Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Lowe, Daymond Heydenreich, Ronnie Buckner, Mike Johnson and Foy Brown, Gary Pettway.
