Doris F. McKinney, 81 of Alma, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and the widow of Bill McKinney. She was born May 15, 1933 in Mannheim, Germany. In 1953 Lady Liberty gave her a warm welcome in New York Harbor. She moved to Los Angeles in 1955 and married Bill on February 4, 1956. In May of 1959 she became a proud citizen of the United States of America.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, Arkansas under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be prior to the service at the cemetery.
She is survived by one brother, Peter K. Greiner and wife, Inga of Bishophein, Germany and five nieces, Doris Greiner of Germany, Betty McKinney of California, Beverly Pace of Tulsa, OK, Loretta Gulick of Florida and Cheryl Henson.
