Dorothy (Dottie) Williams, 73, of Plainview, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in North Little Rock. She was retired from law enforcement and a member of the First Baptist Church in Plainview, AR.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Danville with burial at Lower Spring Creek Cemetery in Belleville under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral Home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, Jon C. Williams; one son, Danny Gililland and wife, Lynda of North Little Rock; two daughters, Debbie Franklin and husband, Billy of Parks, Dawn Gilmore of Pottsville; one step-son, Gary Williams of McKinleyville, CA; her mother, Youtha Graham of Danville; two brothers, Johnny Chance of Plainview and Robert Austin of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Fran Reece and husband, Bud of Centerville and Christine Gulley and husband, Tim of Samoa, CA; ten grandchildren, Rhys Franklin, Heather Davis, Chad Franklin, Michael Gililland, Danette Gililland, Dustin Gililland, Dylan Gililland, Derek Gililland, Chaz McDermott and Levi Gilmore and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, John Chance; one son, Dennis Gililland; one step-son, Scott Williams and one step-daughter, Kristie Williams.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Merriweather.
