

Carl Douglas “Doug” Udouj, 59, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, after his battle with cancer. He was born October 30, 1956 in Fort Smith. His passion was training Thoroughbred horses, which he did for over 20 years. The past eleven years he spent working for Kroger in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
He is survived by his daughters, Megan Sullivan and husband, Josh of Fort Smith and Holly Trotter and husband, Cole of Greenwood; one granddaughter, Sloane Sullivan; his mother, Peggy Udouj of Fort Smith; sisters, Debbie Lipsmeyer of Denham Springs, LA, Becky Melancon of Fort Smith and Barbara Robbins of Walker, LA; brothers, Dr. John Udouj and wife, Debbie and Dr. Stan Udouj and wife, Patty all of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Carl Udouj.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
