Eddie is an amazing grandfather. Eddie always had a smile on his face. He loved all of us with his whole heart. My favorite memory of him is his laugh. His laugh was the reason I laughed. He is loved by everyone. 💕 As his grandchild Briannah he always spoiled all of us. He made me feel like I could touch the clouds. I love you pops. I hope one day we meet back in heaven.

Ed recently came to visit my store to spend the day with us. Ed has been my (me in the middle!) Mentor the past year as I entered my new role. I’m so fortunate to have had time with him learning and laughing! He’s so wise. Ed, you’re an absolute legend. Always loved being in your presence because it was filled with joy, laughs, and comfort. Thank you for being such a wonderful influence. Pam, sending you and yours all our love! Reach out if you need anything.

My Partner (Cira in the middle purple) was a Store Manager peer with Ed. I always appreciated his support, encouragement, and kindness towards them and our growing family. Such an AMAZING leader and friend.

God bless Ed and all of his family. Recently, and over the past few years, I was able to experience Ed's enthusiasm and sense of humor whenever he visited our Fayetteville Home Depot. We recall many years ago (somewhere in the early 2000's) sharing a table in the lumber aisle with him and Pam at the 1403 Home Depot Christmas party. They discussed how they planned to find some country land and build; not long after that he moved on to Springfield. We will always remember is laugh and grin. We believe he is in a good and restful place.

This is Sharon Elliott-Wright.  Ed was my manager at The Home Depot and I just loved working for him.  He always made me feel like he trusted me and had my back.  I admired his wisdom and leadership abilities.  It breaks my heart that he is gone and so suddenly.  The last time I saw him in April he was talking about retiring and moving closer to his family.  I’ve asked the Lord to give you strength and to comfort you in your time of sorrow.  Pam, you were married to a good man and if he was as good a farther as a manager, consider yourselves lucky.  I know he loved you all because he talked to me about all of you all the time.  Thank you all for sharing him with us at The Home Depot…he was a blessing to us.

Our deepest sympathy from Patrick and (Daughter)Nicole Ingram. We knew Eddie when his niece (Denise)and nephew(Randy) called him uncle Eddie even though they were only 4 years in age apart. Once in Boulder Creek, California, Eddie as a youngster was caught in the "Y" of a tree, hanging from his leg, hollering for help. Randy ran to us yelling Uncle Eddie was hanging from a tree. We thought the worst, but when we got to him we all starting laughing because of how funny he looked hanging from a tree by his ankle. Eddie was a very inquisitive youngster and was always getting into situations he couldn't get out of without help. Needless to say Eddie grew up to be a very responsible and successful man. May god protect his soul!

There are so many memories with Uncle Eddie, but one I'll never forget was being a teenager, and riding with him in his brown Chevy truck to Tulsa with about 5 ricks of wood on a trailer.  We were in eyesight of the gas stations of Catoosa, but he had to take a dump really bad. He pulled off the side of the road, while my brother Jeremy and I waited in the truck, and he ran out into the woods holding his ass. He came back like 30 minutes later and said, "Well boys, I'll be working with no underwear on today."  Lol. Rest in peace, Uncle.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Verrette; two sons, Randall and Austin Verrette; three daughters, Ashley Horton, Calea Butler and Misty Ward; one sister, Janet Bishton and several grandchildren.
