Gary Mason Hardcastle

Gary M. Hardcastle, 70, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a truck driver for Averett Express, widower of Constance (Allen) Hardcastle, U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and of the Pentecostal faith.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas.

He is survived by his two sons, James Hays, Sr. and wife, Wanda of Mansfield and Jesse Hays and his wife, Pam of Warren, Texas; four daughters, Rhonda Fawcett and husband, Robin of Fort Smith, Diann Degeus and husband, Jaap of Dobin, Holland, Helen Christine Reyna of Needville, Texas and Amanda Gibson and husband, James of Needville, Texas; his mother, Juanita Bertram Van Cleve of Damon, Texas; a brother Daniel Hardcastle of New Mexico; a sister, Karen Clement of Damen, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
