George Shelby Decker, 79, of Hartford, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired truck driver.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 20 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, prior to the service.

He is survived by two sons, George Decker of Chesapeake, Virginia and Douglas Decker of Kirkland, Illinois; two daughters, Dorothy Martin of Fort Smith and Marta Decker of Fort Smith; three sisters, Dorothy Menks of Fallon, Nevada, Nancy Spangler of Hartford and Lea Anna Post of Hackett; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
