

Glen A. Henderson, 41 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 in his home. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved the outdoors, hunting and riding ATV’s. He was always ready to help neighbors, especially with their cars or mechanical problems.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, 18218 U.S. Hwy. 71 in Greenwood with burial at Ware’s Chapel Cemetery in Dublin, Arkansas under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m. The family will also visit with friends at the church on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m.
He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Anne Henderson of Fort Smith; his father, Joe Henderson and wife, Jeanne of Greenwood; his mother, Cheryl Wessels and husband, Bill of Casa Grande, AZ; one sister, Karen Lynn Henderson of Fort Smith; two step-sisters, Samantha Anderson of Bella Vista and Wendi Hannan of Fort Smith; two step-brothers, Louis Wessels of Fayetteville and Chris Wessels of Rogers; his godparents, Benny and Mildred Stovall of Barling and numerous cousins.
Pallbearers will be Chris Montgomery, Jim Henderson, Jeff Henderson, Eugene Post, Jr., Shane Schuetz and Kevin Bibbs. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Watkins, Paul Burgess, Kyle Cagle, Keith Bibbs, Brian Burgess, Scott Henderson and Ken Springston.
