Harold Daniel Eckert

Harold Daniel Eckert, 83, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 in his home. He was born September 24, 1940 in Michigan City, Indiana to Roy and Eva (Rice) Eckert. He was the owner of Eckert Construction and Ornamental Iron Shop in Bentonville, he worked as an electrician for the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and gardening in his free time.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Eckert; two sons, Roy Bradley Eckert and Douglas Scott Eckert; two daughters, Lisa Ann Eckert-Divine and Tracey Danielle Schlinker and husband, Kevin and their two children, Darah and Adam and two step-sons, Eric and Shawn Henry and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Robert and Thomas Eckert and three sisters, Ruth Snyder, Irene Muckway and Janette Blieden.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 9 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood.
