

Harold “Dizzy” Orr, 77, of Midland, died Friday, March 2, 2012 in Greenwood. He was a retired carpenter, a member of the Midland United Methodist Church, a 32nd degree mason, a member of Hartford Lodge #609 F&AM, and an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcell and Lorene Orr, and a great-niece, Paige Walker.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 5 at the Midland United Methodist Church, with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Hartsfield and husband, Richard of Hartford and Debbie Phillips of Robertsdale, AL; five sisters, Judy Thompson and husband, Jimmy of Midland, Chereyl Caldwell and husband, Refus of Guy, AR, Lucille Collins and husband, Paul of Ada, OK, Janette Murray and husband, Jerry of Pawhuska, OK, and Rose Cowan and husband, Floyd of Guthrie, OK; three brothers, Richard Orr and wife, Marge of St. Charles, MO, Stanley Orr and wife, Sue of Fort Smith, and Jeffery Orr and wife, Carla of the Bear Hollow Community; four grandchildren, Stephen and Emily Foote, Lindsey Fox, and Rachel Hartsfield, six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and the friend and mother of his children, Loretta Orr of Midland.
Pallbearers will be Lindsey Fox, Richard Hartsfield, Leon Leyva, Carl Nichols, Debbie Phillips, and Stephen Foote. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy and Michael Thompson.
