Jannsen Cole Wiley, 28, of Bentonville, Arkansas, tragically passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Kemp, Texas. Jannsen was born May 19, 1992 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Torie Moore and Shannon Wiley. Jannsen served in the United States Army from 2009 to 2018. After leaving the Army, Jannsen met the love of his life, Cassidy Paige Franke and they were married August 1, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Torie Luper; one brother, Cole Luper; his paternal grandparents, Leon and Janet Wiley and grandparents, Opal “Demaris” and Samuel Hughart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cassidy of the home; his father; stepfather, Curtis Luper of Bentonville, AR; stepmother, Lorri Wiley; two sisters, Morgan Wiley and Claire Wiley both of Frisco, Texas; one brother, Chase Luper of Bentonville, AR; his maternal grandfather, Tom Moore and wife, Sandy of Fort Smith, AR; grandparents, Kevin and Janette Daniels of Fort Smith, AR; grandfather, Herman Luper of Van Buren, AR and grandmother, Norma Ketcham and husband, Bill of Fort Smith, AR. Jannsen is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins that all loved him very much, along with numerous friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 7 from 5 – 7 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with Brad Kuhl officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Wiley, Chase Luper, Kyle Helms, Aaron Bohannan, Ethan Mabie and Chris Powell.
