Joanne Carlile

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Carlile, Sr. and her parents, Gerald and May Fitzgerald. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Britt and husband, Bill of Greenwood; her son, Clyde Carlile, Jr. of Fort Smith; her daughter, Annatta Jones and husband, Steve of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Eric Jones and wife, Jennifer of Elkins, Lori Conn and husband, Tim of Springdale, Cindy Ridley and husband, Robbie of Greenwood and Brent Jones and wife, Rachel of Fort Smith. She was blessed with ten great grandchildren, Katie Jones, Brad, Jason and Jessica Richardson, Trent, Samantha, Tyler and Elizabeth Conn and Ryan and Drew Ridley.

In her early years she enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband, gardening, quilting and crafting. In her later years, she enjoyed being “Nanny” to many children in her home.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, February 2 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Eric Jones, Brent Jones, Tim Conn, Robbie Ridley, Richard King and Jim Goodin.

The family would like to acknowledge and say “thank you” to the most loving caregivers at Peachtree Hospice and Ashton Place.
