Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Monday, December 12 at Oak Valley Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1- 8 p.m. at Chateau on the Greens, 10560 So. Hwy. 96 in Greenwood, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Ola Lee Gipson; nine sons, Ira Joe Gipson of the home, Steve Gipson and Mike Gipson both of Jenny Lind, Eugene Gipson of Fort Smith, Marshall Gipson, Curtis Gipson, Raymond Gipson and Raymond Dale Gipson all of Jenny Lind, Shannon Eugene Gipson, Jr. and Robert Gipson both of Fort Smith; one daughter, Diane Smith of Oklahoma; two sisters, Ruby Lindsey of Moffett, OK and Imogene Gipson of Texas; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Eugene Gipson, Jr., Robert Gipson, Steven Gipson, Clarence Smith, Michael Gipson and Luther Smith.
