John Wayne Griffin

John Wayne Griffin, 73, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born December 14, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Perry and Irene (Hefley) Griffin. He worked for BRB Company in Topeka, Kansas doing concrete work.

He is survived by one son, Joshua Griffin of Greenwood; three brothers, Charles Griffin and Tommy Griffin of Greenwood and Richard Griffin of Lavaca; one granddaughter, Despina Morgan and one great granddaughter, Lrya Hillion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Kenneth Griffin and one sister, Joan Vrisen.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
