Graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 28 at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
He is survived by his two sons, Thomas McClain and wife, Suzi and Johnny McClain both of Jenny Lind; one daughter, Wanda McClain of Mansfield; one brother, Charles Perkins of Bonanza; three sisters, Dorothy Dyer of Rudy, Linda Vanmeter of Panama and Betty Hartsfield of Bonanza; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Claudie Perkins, a sister, Susan Bradley and two brothers, Bobby Wayne Perkins and Donnie Perkins. A special thanks to Becky and Roger Rainwater for the care they provided Johnny.
