Kathy Cantrell Trice Hood

Kathy Cantrell Trice Hood went home to be with her Jesus Sunday, February 6, 2011. She had great testimonies of what her Lord did in her life and she was a great witness for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, wife, friend, and Nana.

She is survived by her daughter, Somer Hood of Greenwood, AR; her son, Dustin Hood and his wife, Veronica, of Jenny Lind; her grandchildren, Ashily and Austin Hood; her special loving friend, Roger Hood; her siblings, Bill Cantrell and his wife, Irene, of Pocola, OK, Joyce Rogers, and her husband, Jerry, of Jenny Lind, AR, Jackie Cantrell of Muldrow, OK, Mary Tomlin of Fort Smith, David Cantrell of Fort Smith, Donna Hood and her husband, Albert of Midwest City, OK, and Debbie Jenkins of Fort Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Minnie Cantrell and a sister, Francis Ozment.

She also had a loving family at Rose Garden Full Gospel Church in Jenny Lind, AR. Her spiritual parents were Weldon and Joyce Bratton.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Rose Garden Full Gospel Church in Jenny Lind with interment at Mountain View Cemetery near Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Viewing will be from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 9th at the funeral home where the family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Turner, Cecil Hood, Steve Hood, Mike Toon, James Albritton, and Keith Sebo.
