Even though I haven't seen you in a very long time, I Love You. I'm happy that you had a good life.

My sister Kathy I can not think of a time that she has not been there for me. I love her so much I will miss her everyday. She was so loving and caring. The hardest thing I will ever do is tell her bye for the last time. It breaks my heart. She raised seven beautiful children. She was memaw to my boys. Could ask for a better person. Until I see you again I love you Kathy!

A true heart of gold. It didnt matter the length of time between visits, it was always a blessing to see you.  A friend and Mother figure during my teenage years. I've laughed and cried with you. Your door was always open . I felt the love in your hugs. You will be so very missed.  Until we meet again, fly high sweet angel..

I always loved coming over to her house and just sitting there talking to her or watch her do puzzels. She was a great cook too! She will definitely be missed. Much love to all her family 💜

So many favorite memories  how can one choose? Every encounter was always so intimate. Loving and full of laughter. My favorite moments were when we would sneak away so you could show me a new addition to your collection of Unicorns 🦄. I always knew we were some how connected because of our love for these majestic creatures. Every moment you made so magical. To me you are just like a Unicorn; Loving, magical and beautiful. Definitely one of a kind. You will truly be missed. My you Rest In Peace Mom.Thank you for the memories. I love you ❤️

Ya know. I've only know Kathy about 10 yrs. I met her not long after my baby brother married her baby sister.  If I have learned anything about this family...its this every one of y'all I have met and spent any time with has acted towards me like I was born into your family. Kathy especially.  I've been at their house for Easter and birthdays and never felt out of place. I will miss running into her and getting a hug. She has a great family and I know she was well loved.  If I was to share my most significant memory I would embarrassed.  So I won't go there. LOL

Kathy was my childhood friend’s (Amanda Patterson) mom. She always welcomed kids in her home like they were her own. Favorite memory when Amanda had a sleep over and Kathy took all of us to Walmart in the middle of the night. And then on the way home she stopped in the middle of the road so we could do a Chinese fire drill. Always so much fun and love at their house! You guys are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 💜 

My sister Kathy as kids she was always there for me .Some of the things I got to do as a kid if not for her I wouldn't have got to do .My sister and brother in law are true humanities .They have help more people than anyone probably knows . I still can't believe my sister is not here anymore .She and I spoke at least once a month usly more . Sometimes she was hard get hold of but when I did she was hard to shut up to lol .She raised some great kids very proud of her children and the adults they have turned in to .Love you all Uncle Leon

Aunt Kathy was one of my favorite aunts. I will always remember going to all the huge family gatherings as a child. We always had so much fun! I remember when I would go over to her house she always had this huge collection of unicorns....I loved to just look over all them. She had always been there for me no matter what. I remember when I went into labor with Andrew and my parents were in Missouri, she was one of the first ones there for me at the hospital.  As I have grown older and moved away from Arkansas  I always tried to at least stop in and say hi when I was in town, every time I went it was like we had seen each other yesterday and pick back up talking. She was so easy to talk to and was filled with so much advice and wisdom. I will always miss her.  I love you Aunt Kathy!

Aunt Kathy I remember being a kid an getting so excited about getting to go to your house because it was the fun house always kids running around y’all video recording us an getting jump on your trampoline! I’ll always remember the good times your loved an missed I’ll take care of your Lilly ! Love you 😘❤️

This wonder woman I have Known since 1985. There was never anyone so loving a parent , as to say they came first. She will be missed as long as I live.  


I've known Kathy for over 18 years.  She is the maternal grandmother of my daughters,  their Memaw.  When we first met, I was a lost and confused young person.  Through Albert and Kathy's relationship,  I saw that families were not extinct.   They were always there and wanted to be there for their children and grandchildren.   We helped each other even more so over the past five years and had spent that time conversing and joking and arguing at times.  There was, is, and will continue to be nothing that would stop me from doing what I could for them.  I feel blessed to have known Kathy and shared special parts of our lives together.   We love you Memaw and cant wait to see you again someday! Love, Dominic, Kathren, Jewel, and Hayleigh.

We had met when our kids Misty Thomas & my son Jay(Pooch)Barber started kindergarten together & our baby boys were born 3 days apart...Everytime we ever got together we always had lots of laughs together & Kathy ALWAYS had her beautiful smile...We didn't get to visit often but when we did it was always a great visit.I will miss Kathy's friendship & will always remember her smile...My deepest sympathy & condolences to all of you at this difficult time.Love to all.

Memorial Service

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband of 42 years, Albert Thomas; seven children, Jimmy and Robin Thomas of Pocola, OK, Misty and Danny Collins of Tulsa, OK, Steve and Angela M. Thomas of Fort Smith, AR, David and Sonja Thomas of Howe, OK, Amanda and Chris Patterson of Greenwood, AR, George and Jennifer Thomas of Tulsa, OK, and Kathren Thomas and Dominic Haycraft of Mulberry, AR; four brothers, Leon Slote of Marshall, MO, Billy Slote of Pocola, Benny Baker of Sand Springs, OK and Korey Slote of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Terry Streetman of Greenwood and Sharon Ingram of Barling, AR; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way, as well as many other family and friends that are too many to mention.
