

Arnold “Leeroy” Hill, 72, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 in his home. He was born May 9, 1943 in Grayville, Illinois to A.L. Hill and Myrtle Hill of Mansfield. Leeroy worked at the Duke City Lumber Company in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 26 years and at Travis Lumber Company for an additional 20 years as a Forklift Operator. He was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. He loved to fish, hunt and the outdoors in general. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved Hot Rods. He was passionate about his Harley and loved to ride. After retirement, he enjoyed working with his John Deere and tending his garden.
Graveside service will be 12:30 pm Saturday, April 2 at Buggy Hill Cemetery in Mansfield under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood followed by a dinner at Mansfield City Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hill; two sisters, Jeanine and Betty; a cousin, Caroline Goss of Mansfield, his Aunt Nathalie Hill also of Mansfield; his four children, Marty, Shelly, Kelly and Veronica; sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
