Lisa Kay Been, 56, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born August 24, 1968 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Garland and Bonnie (Starr) Cheesman. She was a homemaker and member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Mackenzie Been; two daughters, Savannah Clopton and Gracie Been; one brother, Clifford Cheesman and six grandchildren, Annie, Canaan, Danny Joe, Elwood, Oliver and Maggie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Butch Been.
A family directed memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 9 at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
