Lonnie Delton Young

Lonnie Delton Young, 83, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at his home in Greenwood, Arkansas. He was retired from Weyerhauser as a logging supervisor and from the Sebastian County Road Department, he was also a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Greenwood. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his wife, Floyce.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A. M., Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with interment at Mayberry Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday from 1 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include a son, Patrick Young and his wife, Michele of Greenwood; two daughters, Linda Shupert and husband, Kenny of Central City and Elizabeth McMahan and husband, Ray of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Melissa Silva, Greg McMahan, Brianna Branch, and Brennon McMahan; five great grandchildren, Casey O’Neal, Lainy Alexander, and Garret, Payton, and Jackson McMahan and many loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Joey Self, Jim Barker, Olen Craig, Gary Medley, Harold Beck, Daniel McDaniel and Glen McDaniel.
