Marjorie Pearson

Lanie Pearson, 54, of Greenwood Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in her home. Lanie was a loving wife and caring person. She was a homemaker and a member of Denver Street Baptist Church.

Funeral will be 2 pm Friday, October 2 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith. Viewing will be Thursday from 1-8 pm at the funeral home, where family will visit with friends from 6-8 pm.

She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; her father, Olan Rougeou of Boyce, Louisiana, three sons, Jared Pearson of Greenwood, Jimmy Ray and wife Brandi of Greenwood, and Jeff Pearson and wife Ashley of Pocola; one daughter, Nycole Woodall and husband Rob of Wister, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lynn Trichel of Boyce, Louisiana, and Toni Kingsbury of Round Rock, Texas; eight grandchildren, Shaelyn Ray, Anna Ray, Elizabeth Ray, Sam Woodall, Brooke Woodall, Raelyn Taylor-Ray, Peyton Wolbert and Layton Taylor and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Lanie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Rougeou; a granddaughter, Larrisa McGee; and a sister, Julia Perot.

Pallbearers will be Mike Pearson, Guy Pearson, Jeff Pearson, Jared Pearson, Joe Qualls and Jim O’Hearn.
