Michael Eric Lanman

Eric was born to Richard and Jeanie Lanman at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas on May 27, 1970. From childhood on, Eric was fun loving, mischievous, full of life, love and a passion for hunting and fishing. He loved his family and friends fiercely and enjoyed being a Brother and Past Master of the Hartford Masonic Lodge #609.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jeanie Lanman, one brother, Brad Lanman and one sister, Becky “Lanman” Lovell.

He is survived by two daughters, Rachel and Trevis Walker of Hartford and Emily and Conor Bumpus of Hartford; five grandchildren, Tyler Walker, Tara Walker, Catelyn Edwards, Bailey Edwards and Matthew Howell; two grandpups, Milo and Millie Bumpus; one brother, Stephen and Lisa Lanman of Hartford; two sisters, Peggy Williams of Lebanon, Virginia and Ricki Schoen of Midland Arkansas and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Eric was loved and treasured by so many and will be missed dearly.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 17 at Midland First Baptist Church with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Terry Hearron, Dave Murphy, Robert Cooper, Michael Thompson, Billy Stokes, Don Kinser, Keith Walker and Rick South. Honorary pallbearers will be all masonic brothers, Traye Stokes and Don Klentz.
