Michael Eric Woolsey

Michael Eric Woolsey, 52, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born January 4, 1973 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a self-employed salesman for Bimbo Bakeries and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one daughter, Madison Woolsey of Fort Smith; his loving parents, Carolyn and David Jernigan of Greenwood; three special people he thought of as his own children, Allen, Amber and Iven Hansana; two brothers, James Woolsey and wife, Jennifer of Greenwood and Chris Woolsey of Greenwood; three step brothers, Shawn Jernigan and wife, Carrie of Alma, Bryan Jernigan and wife, Jessica of Alma and Derek Blaine Jernigan and wife, Sandy of Bentonville; one grandson, Brooks Burrows of Fort Smith and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Allen Woolsey and his grandmother, Margaret McCormick.

A private celebration of life service will be held by his family. Cremation is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
