Mitch Brewer

Mitch Brewer, 65, of Lavaca, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired funeral director at McConnell Funeral Home, Mayor of Lavaca from 2003-2006 and City Alderman from 1999-2002 and 2007-2011.

The family will have a private graveside service at Lavaca City Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon “Sha” Brewer and three sisiters, Becky Lee of Vian, Linda Mills of Hollis, Oklahoma and Cathy Quinata of Lavaca. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Geske.
