Nancy Jane Wolverton, 78, of Muldrow, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in her home. She was born December 8, 1946 in Altus, Arkansas to William Hugh and Mary Belle (McDonald) Lovell. She was retired from Dixie Cup, member of the United Paper Workers Union and Lee’s Chapel Assembly of God Church in Muldrow.
She is survived by her husband, Byrd Lavon Wolverton; one son, Greg Wolverton and wife, Mona of McKinney, TX; one daughter, Rhonda Keck and husband, Tommy of Liberty, OK; one sister, Judy Mille of Fort Smith; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Tommy Lovell and three sisters, Ann McCandless, Elizabeth Carter and Pat McBride.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 7 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 2 – 4 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Matt Wolverton, Daniel Merrill, Samuel Dye, Mitchell Dye, Michael Dye and James Wolverton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Wolverton and Luke Henson.
