Norma Dell Smith Taylor

Norma Dell Smith Taylor, 82, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a retired register nurse at St. Edward Mercy Hospital and member of Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 25 at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Carolan Cemetery in Booneville under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Taylor; two sons, Paul Burke of Michigan and Craig Taylor and wife, Sherri of Booneville; two daughters, Debra Burke Simpkins and husband, Eric of Bend, Oregon and Amy Burke and partner, Shannon Lacey of Greenwood; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was also survived by granddogs and grandcats and furbabies, too many to list by name. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nettie Smith; her children, Kerwin Labe Taylor and Janet Anne Burke; a daughter-in-law, Janet Marie Purtill Burke and a great granddaughter, Brooke Bishop.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Burke, Devan Simpkins, Zach Taylor, Brian Taylor, Ronnie Morrow and Steven Holmberg.
