Patty Medlin, 65, of Greenwood, Arkansas was called home to be with Jesus on Thursday October 24, 2024. She passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours. Patty was the owner of Tables Matter in Greenwood. Over the course of 18 years with Tables Matter, she helped hundreds of couples and their families coordinate the rental of tables, chairs, linens and other necessities for their weddings. Patty truly wanted to make sure every couple had a beautiful wedding to celebrate the most special day of their life.
Patty was full of life and spirit. She loved to laugh and make other people laugh. She was the happiest person, always filled with joy, and shared her joy with everyone she encountered. You couldn’t help but love her! What will we all do without Patty! She had cherished relationships with so many people and was loved dearly by everyone who was lucky enough to know her. Someone recently asked, “Did Patty ever meet a stranger?” Yes, she met strangers on a regular basis through her business, but never treated anyone as a stranger, only as friends. Funeral attendees are asked by the family to think about a word or two that you feel best describes Patty and come to the funeral to share your kind words.
