Paul Newton, 79, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Baldor, member of Westwood Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 8 at Westwood Baptist Church. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Newton, one brother, John Newton of Fort Smith and two sisters, Barbara Crouch of Fort Smith and Jane Terry of Russellville.
