

Reba F. Cross, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Pink Bud Home for the Golden Years in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was born June 30, 1925 to Sylvester and Emily Gertrude Gleason in Jenny Lind, Arkansas. A life-time member of the Greenwood Church of Christ, Reba was a homemaker and lived on Gleason Hill in the Greenwood area for most of her adult life.
Reba was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Harlan Cross; her son, Randy Cross; her niece, Barbara Branham, who was like a daughter to her; and all of her Gleason siblings, Gladys, Thelma, Elsie, Virene, Lottie, Marshall and Herb.
Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Lovelace Cemetery in Witcherville under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Sabrina L. Cross of Georgetown, TX; her nephew and caregiver, Bill J. Owen (Linda) of Greenwood; a sister-in-law, Helen Robertson; nephews, Bill Gleason, Bob Gleason, Johnny Daniels and nieces, Carol League, Carol Thomas, Dolores Hanna, Judy Dodson, Melba Cockrell and Sondra Lee as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the care and devotion shown to Reba by the staff of Peachtree Hospice and Pink Bud Nursing Home and especially to Betty Muncrief, Bud and Tammy Qualls, Carol Thomas, Judy Dodson and Shaun Branham.
