Richard Floyd Bento

He was survived by his wife, Roberta (Bobbie) of 53 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Allyson and Keith Smith of Arkansas; grandsons, Tyler Smith of Arkansas and Nicholas Loucks of California; a sister, Rosemary Davis of Washington; brother, Dennis Bento of California and nieces and nephews.

Richard was a retired Quality Assurance Analyst. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, a reserve police officer for ten years in Santa Clara, California and with Roberta as a mission volunteer for eleven years in seven states.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Bento Attwood; brother, Robert Bento of California; sister, Geraldine Tavares of California and in-laws, Joseph and Florence Davis.

A celebration of life service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, September 23 at Greenwood First Baptist Church.
