Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown. Viewing will be before the service on Wednesday.
She is survived by her husband, James T. “Jim” Dampier; two sons, Jimmy H. Dampier of Bloomer and Ruben A. Dampier, Sr. of Milltown; two daughters, Nancy J. Whittington of Central City and Phyllis A. Howell of Cleveland, Mississippi; one sister, Patsy Brackman of Avon Park, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Robie Dampier, Sebastian Dampier, Gary Whittington, Jr., Ruben Dampier, Jr., Grady Smithson and Brandon Hannick. Honorary pallbearers will be Collin Moore, Justin Hale, Daniel Whittington and Joshua Dampier.
