Roger A. Davis

Roger A. Davis, 46, of Fort Smith, AR went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2010. Roger was born on October 6, 1963 in Fort Smith, AR. Roger was employed and a member of the 188th Fighter Wing as a SMSgt Air Tech Production Scheduler. He was a lifetime member of the Greenwood Mason Lodge #131 F&AM. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his family dearly. He will be so greatly missed by those family members and friends who loved him so dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy L. Davis and his mother and stepfather, Billie R. Poe and Dr. McDonald Poe.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lisa; two sons, Ryan A. Davis and Trent A. Davis both of the home; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. William Clark of Fort Smith; brother-in-law, Randy Clark and wife, Susan of Greenwood; three sisters, Joni Linam and husband, Cleve of Hackett, Sharon Perryman and husband, Dennis of Barling, Traci Carter and husband, Thomas of Fort Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Eric Stanfill, Charles (Sonny) Frye, Greg Beard, Steven (Andy) Andrews, Marty Adkins and Fred Williams.
