

Russell Layton, 65 of Huntington, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in a Little Rock hospital. He was a Pepsi- Cola deliveryman, owner of CC&C Excavating in Stillwater, owner of a telecommunications company, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, lifetime member of Moose Lodge in Stillwater, member of the NRA, he loved playing poker, fishing and watching The Western Channel.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Friday from 2 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife Wanetta Layton; two sons, Kennith Layton and wife, Michelle of Heath, TX and Kevin Layton and sweetheart, Tricia of Broken Arrow; his mother, Patricia Logan of Stillwater; three brothers, Mitchell Layton of Nevada, TX, Monty Layton of Copan, OK and Dale Logan of Stillwater, OK; two sisters, Cheryl Wick of Stillwater, OK and Claudia Hendron of Texas; seven grandchildren, Tierra, Jeremy, Devin, Caitlin, Katherine, Breanna , Cordell and one great grandchild, Hannah.
Pallbearers will be Devin Layton, Cordell Layton, Jeremy Monday, Kennith Layton, Kevin Layton and Bobby Elmore.
