I remember when I first held you, my darling baby girl. Your face a light seemed to shine, I noticed as I wrapped your first baby curl. I knew from that day and beyond would shine so bright from shore to shore. Though your time on earth ended too fast. I knew the light of your heart, the love of your joy, would forever last. In my life this is true, when the world got dim, I could always lean on you. In those darkest nights, those that seemed to never end. When I searched Heavens heights it was always you that God would send. Now in my darkest hour when your light can no longer be seen, I peer across heavens shining sea, in green pastures I gaze and see both you and me. I’m coming home to you my light from above, carried to your side by your far reaching love. I love you Sherry, my darling girl.

You are so missed. We had some times for sure. 

I grew up with Sherry ,Heaven truly took an Angel home!

The Oak Tree By Johnny Ray Ryder Jr. 

A mighty wind blew night and day
It stole the oak tree's leaves away
Then snapped its boughs and pulled its bark
Until the oak was tired and stark
But sill the oak tree held its ground
While other trees fell all around
The weary wind gave up and spoke
"How can you still be standing Oak?"
The oak tree said, "I know that you 
can break each branch of mine in two, 
but I have roots stretched in the earth,
 growing stronger since my birth. 
You'll never touch them for you see
they are the deepest part of me
Until today, I wasn't sure 
of how much I could endure
but now I've found, with thanks to you
I'm stronger than I ever knew"

Sherry’s favorite of all her bulldogs!  

Sherry was a neighbor for many years and I’m sorry I didn’t get to know her better. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Neal McQuiston; five sons, Kevin Haynes, James Cook, Michael Cook, Scott McQuiston and Nick McQuiston; one daughter, Cassie McQuiston; her mother and step-father, Joyce Chapin and Huey Riley Todd; one brother, Carl Dorris and five grandchildren.She is survived by her husband, Neal McQuiston; five sons, Kevin Haynes, James Cook, Michael Cook, Scott McQuiston and Nick McQuiston; one daughter, Cassie McQuiston; her mother and step-father, Joyce Chapin and Huey Riley Todd; one brother, Carl Dorris and five grandchildren.
