Tatiana Nugent

On September 10, 2016 Heaven gained another Angel. Tatiana Nugent left this earth to join her loving husband Olan. Mom was born June 14, 1922 in Chefoo China, of Russian Immigrants. The Daughter of a Noble Women she grew up in a troubled China. Speaking fluent Russian, Chinese and English she worked at the Army Fort Commissary, in Shanghai, where she met and married the love of her life.

Mom leaves behind a Brother, Andy residing in Australia, and a Sister Mary, also of Australia. Mom has three Children, Mary Louise Connally & husband John, David Michael Nugent, and Olan Andrew Nugent and wife Nancy. She was so proud of and loved her five grandchildren, Amanda Booker & husband Marcus, Melissa Chick & husband Kenneth, Ross Nugent, Naomi Nugent, and Allison Nugent Hardin & husband Jay Hardin, and also her six Great Grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Gavin, James, Katherine and Caroline.

Before her sight failed she loved to decorate cakes, work in the yard and garden, bird watch, and above all knit. She knitted for Hospitals, Nursing Homes and her favorite the Prayer Shawl Ministry of the Lakewood Methodist Church in No Little Rock. Mom will be thought of often, and along with Pop, by everyone. She prepared us for life and its journey but did not prepare us for life without her. Mom is free of pain, walking strong and uniting with family. Mom we love you so.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.
