Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, March 13 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Oak Valley Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 4 – 6 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Carter; one son, Terry Clarence Carter, Jr. of Lebanon, IL; two daughters, Pamela Jean Chenoweth of Paradise, MT and Heather Renae Kortuem of Coupville, WA; one brother, Jerry Winford Carter of Greenwood; one sister, Peggy Louise Green of Lavaca; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Nick Rogers, Dale Carter, Zachary Carter, Rick Johnson, Rodney Johnson and Robert Johnson.
