Terry Michael Cowan, 56, of Fort Smith, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 in a local hospital. He was formerly employed at Dixie Cup, and a member of Gideons International. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Huber, and a brother, James Edward Cowan.
Survivors include his father, Thomas Huber of Greenwood; two daughters, Amy Deann Cowan of Wister, OK and Chelsea Stepp of Van Buren; one sister, Sheryl Bell of Greenwood; one brother, Douglas Huber of Tulsa, OK, and four grandchildren, Bryce Michael Thomas Cowan, Maddox Cole Johnson, Kaedyn Flurry, and Chloe Stepp.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 1 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
