Vima Lafern “Fern” (Smith) Corley, 94, of Magazine, Arkansas passed away November 4, 2020 in her home in Magazine surrounded by family. Fern was the widow of Dallas Eugene Corley. She was retired from Ace Comb Company. She raised her siblings, her children and a number of her grandchildren and cared for many great grandchildren. Fern was passionate about caring for others and was a shining light in the lives of many. Fern served the Lord all her days and laid up many treasures Heaven.
In addition to her husband, Fern was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy Ann and Michael Jacobs, her brothers, Billy Joe Smith and Clem Smith and a sister, Mildred Ruth Jordan. Fern is survived by her son, Jerry Corley of Magazine; grandsons, Robert Corley of Erick, OK, Bryan Corley of Magazine and Billy Corley of Malvern; granddaughters, Yvonne Ward of Marlow, OK and Kimberly Griffin of Scranton and many great grandchildren. She will be forever missed.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 9 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Ferguson Valley under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
