Virginia Sue Lawrence

Virginia “Sue” Lawrence, 89, of Huntington, Arkansas passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born September 7, 1932 to Claude and Gertie Bryan in the Arko Community. She was a retired beautician and loved to attend church at the Lighthouse Family Worship Center.

She is survived by three sons, J.B. Lawrence and wife, Kathy of Huntington, Stanley Lawrence and wife, Debby of Roland, Oklahoma and Gary Lawrence and wife, RaDonna of Huntington; one sister, Carol Phelps and husband, Jim of Hungtington; a sister-in-law, Doris Bryan of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Jimmy Lawrence and wife, Megan of Centerton, Brandon Lawrence and wife, Monique of Mountain Home, Sarah Lawrence and Jason Lawrence, both of Mansfield, Zachary Lawrence of Little Rock, Faith Harris and husband, Jarrett of Baton Rouge, LA, LeAnn Lawrence of Fort Smith, Sara Angel and husband, Ronnie of Hendersonville, TN, Cory Silva and wife, Nicole of Muldrow and Marissa Sims and husband, Wes of Liberty, OK and eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Gertie Bryan; her husband, Jerry Lawrence; two brothers, Harvey Bryan and Charles “Rip” Bryan and a sister-in-law, Gladys Bryan.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 12 at Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Witcherville with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Friday from 2 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy, Brandon, Jason and Zachary Lawrence, Ronnie Phelps and Ricky Bryan.
