William Edward Hamilton Jr.

William Edward Hamilton, Jr., 89, of Huntington, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born March 1, 1936 in Union Hill, Arkansas to William Edward Hamilton, Sr. and Nellie (Woodard) Hamilton. He was retired from Trane.

He is survived by one son, Leo Strange and wife, Laura; two daughters, Brenda Kay McCaffery and husband, John and Marsha Hamilton; one sister, Gladys Herpich; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Cecil and Steven Strange and one brother, Vernon Hamilton.

The family will have a private family burial at Union Hill Cemetery, east of Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
