Ann Marie Evans

Ann Marie (Francesco) Evans passed peacefully in her home after a lengthy illness on Thursday January 26 with family by her side. Ann was born in Little Falls, New York on March 1, 1935. Her parents were Ferdinand (Fred) and Rose (Lamanna) Francesco. She grew up on the Francesco Dairy Farm where she helped along with her sisters milking, bottling and delivering milk with her father throughout Little Falls. She graduated from Little Falls High School class of 1954. While in ninth grade she met and dated her future husband Gary Evans. They married on June 6, 1957 when Lt. Evans finished Navigator Training at Harlingen AFB Texas.

They traveled together and resided in many locations in the United States. She helped put her husband through College at Utah State University and was awarded a PHt (Putting Hubby Through) degree which she was proud of.

In Gresham, Oregon Ann was employed by Payless Northwest for 25 years. She was head cosmetician at Gresham Payless for many years. Ann enjoyed many years of RV travel, Cruises and trips to romantic locations with her family.

Ann is survived by her husband Gary and daughters Yvonne Conrad and Nan Helms and their husbands, Grandson Steven Helms, Granddaughter Mandi Olsen, great-granddaughters Timber Helms and Tia and Tayah Olsen. She is also survived by sisters Rose Ezzo, Josephine Savage, Grace Snell and several nephews all in upstate New York.

Services to be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
