Arlene Reinders passed away peacefully on September 9, 2016 at the Hospice Care Center in Longview. She was born in Palmer, IA to parents Nels and Amy Madsen. She had 3 siblings. In 1949 she married Glenn Reinders and together they raised four children. The family lived a number of years in Nebraska and Colorado and then moved to Oregon in the late 70’s. Four years ago she relocated to Longview, WA to be near family. Arlene was an avid card player and loved to read and spend time with her many friends and family. She was so loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Dave), sons, Gary (Penny) and Darrel (Geraldine), as well as eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Glenn, her husband of 50 years, a son, Randy Reinders, a grandson, Scott Reinders and son-in-law, Jim York.
