

Betty B Maclean was born February 19, 1925 and passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Betty was in the Coast Guard, stationed in Seattle, Wa. when she met the love of her life, Bill MacLean, also in the Coast Guard.
Betty and Bill married and started their life together in Lebanon, Or. They had two boys, Terry and Randy.
Betty, very spunky little lady, decided to open her own beauty shop after the boys were in school. "Betty's Beauty Shop"was in her home. She enjoyed all of her clients and getting to know each and everyone of them.
In 1974 Betty and Bill moved to Gresham, Or. They bought a house on the Gresham golf course. Betty and Bill played golf, every chance they could. One of Betty's greatest moments was when she hit a 'hole in one' not once, but twice!
Betty loved golfing!
Betty and Bill took up square dancing and loved every moment. Betty made many lasting friendships throughout her life and endeavors.
Betty's family was most important to her.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Terry and Randy. Also surviving, three grandsons.
Betty adored her "baby brother" Danny in Michigan, and all her nephews and nieces and their extended family.
Contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Dementia Society of America.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon.
Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
