Devoted mother, giving, and a great sense of humor are just a few of the many words used to describe Carol Ann Hazard, of Gresham. Carol was born on Oct. 11, 1937 in Alliance, Nebraska to Lee and Mary (Loss) Hazard. Carol was raised in Portland, with one sibling, Leona. Carol graduated from Franklin High School and was an active member of her class. Her love of outdoors and children led her to a full career as a secretary, and integral part of the MESD Outdoor School program. Carol will be remembered for her devotion to her faith and family. Her grandson Jody was the sunshine of her life. She never missed his sporting events and was so proud of his achievements. Carol passed Nov. 6th, in Gresham, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susie. She is survived by daughter, Kim Holton (Jeff) of Gresham, Jill Blazier (Jim) of Gresham; grandson, Jody; step-grandchildren, Melissa, Gary & Brian; great-grandchildren, Tori, Lilly & Jonah.
