Chris graduated from David Douglas High School in 1968. He married Penny Marie Allard on October 12, 1968 in Portland, Oregon. Chris was the maintenance coordinator for the City of Gresham. Interests included horseback riding and he especially enjoyed mining for gold.
Chris was a long time Portland area resident. He had also lived in Estacada and Clackamas, Oregon.
Survivors include his wife Penny Parsons, of Clackamas, OR., two daughters, Jackquilin Fuson, of Vale, OR., and Leeanna Parsons, of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, brother, Steve Parsons, of Mt. Vernon, OR., three sisters, Sandy Hampton, of Vancouver, WA., Karen Barger, of Gladstone, OR., and Patty Silva, of Vancouver, WA., and four grandchildren.
