Can’t believe it’s been a year, time has passed so quickly.  Sometimes I want to pick up the phone and then I realize I can’t.  Someday we will come again, conversations and tears will be shed. That time will seem like an eternity but will on be a blink until we meet again another time, another place❤️‍🩹! Daughter

Lacey’s favorite spot was the foot rest of nana’s couch that you would always find her sitting in. Nana thoroughly enjoyed Lacey’s company and loved how mellow she was and ready to provide heartwarming comfort at a moments notice.

Lacey was very spoiled when going to nana’s house, and it’s not common for a service dog to expect any sort of special treatment, but nana made sure Lacey had ample treats and bully sticks when visiting.

It wasn’t just nana’s celebration of life today, but her favorite service dogs first birthday as well!

What an outstanding tribute to a fine woman ♥️

Connie was an amazing supervisor! I enjoyed every minute working with her. She was initially very intimidating, despite her small size. But once you got to know her, and she accepted you as her employee,  you were treated as if you were a member of her family. Truly! So many of the current seniors at GPD can thank Connie for their careers, as she was the ultimate yay or nay on whether or not to send you on in the hiring process. Grit, strength, determination, fairness,  unflappability., composure to name a few qualities. But whatever you do, don’t piss her off. That’s how I’ll remember her.  God speed Connie! You were a one in a million kind of boss and human being. ♥️

What a beautiful night! We not only said good bye to momma💕!  
But the cousins decided they wanted mom’s brother and sister to go with her.  
All three we sent to heaven last night(Connie, loren jr. , Shelly) it was beautiful.  
We raised a glass at sunset in their honor!!!
I know mom loved it💕💕💕💕
I cannot forget we also said good bye to my uncle mike(moms half brother)  as well and my moms dog tiki!! It could not have been a  better night 💕💕💕

It is with great sadness that I heard about all of us loosing Connie.  
I "grew up with Connie" at GPD and spent 30 memorable years together there.  She was always willing to help with any problem or answer any question.  She was a wealth of information and had a ton of moxy when handling the administrative affairs for the department and was an all-out whiz in managing the budget every year.   On a more personal level, I will always reflect on her instant smile, her "from the gut" laugh and her continued friendship over the years.  We shared hilarious and memorable times during off duty time.  Those memories are what I will hold in my heart forever.  She taught me many things, but most of all, she was always a true friend.  May you be flying with the angels Connie and continue to smile for all of us. Your longtime friend, Mavis Murray

My name is Don Vicars I was a captain with Clackamas County sheriffs office, my father was Dwight and Vicars a captain with Gresham PD.
I met Connie through my father, she was always my favorite “go to” person when I had business to conduct with Gresham PD. In my book, she was a 10. We all grew up as cops together, and we enjoyed our jobs. We were in law-enforcement in the best of times… Rest in peace  Connie, I will always remember you.

I will miss my Aunt Connie very much.  Glad I got to see her a few times before this.  She started my love of western movies and ALL movies really.  She took me to my first movie and it was a double feature of The Man From Snowy River and Crocodile Dundee.   I still love these movies.
