Darlene U. Hiatt Brown

Darlene U. Brown died on February 11, 2010 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 76. Darlene was born on August 2, 1933 in Portland, Oregon to Nathan and Grace (Graham) Hiatt. She graduated from Parkrose High School.

Darlene married Rolland Brown on April 15, 1961 in Portland at her mother’s home. Darlene was a sewing machine salesperson. She was a long time East Portland area resident. She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. Darlene had her Degree of Honor in the Eastern Star Organization. Some of Darlene’s interests included: enjoying crafts, was an artist doing drawings and paintings, liked photography where she enjoyed touching up photos and liked singing. Her favorite color was red.

Survivors include her husband Rolland, of Portland, 2 sons, Robert Brown of Portland and Roland Brown of Kentucky, 3 daughters, Rolene Glover, of Longview, WA., Ellen Card, of Vancouver, WA., and Penny Williams, of Graham, WA., 2 sisters, 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Farmer.

Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints Portland Oregon State located at 9901 SE Caruthers in Portland. Concluding Dedication of the grave committal service will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland on Wednesday, February 17th at 1:00 p.m.
