

David graduated from Laramie High School where he formed many lifelong friendships. After a year of college at the University of Wyoming he entered the United States Marine Corps. Upon his discharge he returned to the University to complete his degree in Business Administration. His primary occupation was a real estate agent for Texaco and Ben Franklin Stores. His last position held at PGE was in land management.
He married Janice Lucille George in August of 1957 at the Presbyterian Church in Laramie, Wyoming. They settled in Gresham, Oregon, where he worked as the Properties Manager for Portland General Electric Company for many years. He retired in 1998. David was an active member of many civic and business organizations and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Gresham where he sang in the choir and served in various offices. He and Janice enjoyed an active social life and loved to play golf. Janice passed away in February of 1999.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janice, a brother, Raymond Larsen of Menton, France, and two sisters, Marie Sims, Trona, California, and Velma Barth Brown of Laramie, Wyoming. He is survived by a brother James C. Larsen of Rapid City, S.D. and sisters Dorothy Buckland of Lakewood, California, Fern VanWanning of Graham, Washington, and Janice Jacoby of Fort Collins, Colorado as well as many nieces and nephews.
