Diane Louise Martinez, 54 of Portland OR, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013. She was born on March 1, 1959 in Portland, Oregon to John Russell and Betty Lou (Lane) Williams. She graduated from Apollo College with an Associate Degree as a medical assistant. She married Jose G. Martinez on September 22, 1979 in Wenatchee, Washington and they later divorced. She was a longtime member of The Chapel Foursquare Church in Troutdale, Oregon. She was an avid sewer and crocheted, enjoyed singing and loved being a grandma.
She is survived by her former husband Jose Martinez of Gresham OR; daughters Emily Brent-Fulps and Rebecca Green both of Gresham OR; son Jeramy Martinez of Portland OR; brothers Paul Williams of Troutdale OR and Allen Williams of Sandy OR; sister Karen Hume of Portland OR and grandchildren Brandon, Caleb and Daphne Brent-Fulps.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at The Chapel, 27132 SE Stark in Troutdale OR 97060. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
